My Favorite Blog Articles of the Week

After a long day of running clinical trials followed by tutoring, it feels good to relax, read some of my favorite blogs and watch Lost and my Bulls.

I discovered the smart passive income blog last Thursday and had the entire Archives read by the end of the day. I recommend reading all of the blogs over on the right sidebar, but if you’re only going to read one, make it the smart passive income blog. The most recent post is about the number 1 way to increase traffic, be nice. Who would have thought? I will be trying to answer any questions and comments posed to me on my blog.

Kevin over at No Debt Plan wrote about his cash back credit cards and how he’s on pace to earn between $350 and $400 this year in cash back. I can’t really directly compare my cash back because one of my cards is a rewards mile card. I do get about one free flight per year. Also, I use the AMEX True Earnings Costco Business card, which earns me 5% on gas and 3% on restaurants.

Jonathan at My Money Blog describes the simple and steady budget that he employs. I currently don’t use a budget, but if I did I would definitely use a simpler budget. I just don’t want to put the time into tracking each and every dollar and what category it goes in. As long as I’m on pace for my goals and spending less than what I make after my savings are removed, then I’m happy.

So far, I’m pretty excited about this whole Lost time traveling island, but I’m still waiting to find out what the heck that smoke monster is. I really enjoy Lost, but sometimes I feel like they bring up new questions more then they provide answers to old questions.

This Bulls/Clippers game is pretty pathetic. It’s pretty much a battle of some of the worst teams in the NBA. At least I’ve got Mr. Rose to keep me entertained. We should let Rose take over for Blago in Chicago.

Now I have to go gargle some warm salt water to ward off this upcoming cold. I’m not allowed to get sick, superior genes (like Dwight Schrute). Enjoy the links and if you’re looking for more high quality posts, check out my blogroll to the right.
